wed

Have a couple of commissions to do at the moment so will be kept very busy. Doing a portrait of a young girl for her grandparents. A surprise for them as I have had extra grazing from them this summer for the horses and I would like to repay them with something special.

sunday

Yesterday I went to Blair horse trials. I took the beautiful views, the horses and of course the shopping. Of particular interest to me is the art stalls. There were three equestrian art stalls. One a graphic artist, another Angela Davidson who does very life like pastel srawings and paintings and Lydia Kiernan whom I like. Lydia does very free gestural drawings. They are vibrant, very slick and to be admired. This woman is very skilled.

Sunday

I have started selling some prints and original drawings on e bay again. By popular demand I decided to relaunch my e bay shop - redhorseprints.

I am working on some drawings today. Here is an example.

The Malvern stall!

Sun

Returned from Malvern a week ago. Very tiring. Did ok but not as well as I had hoped. The majority of people were complaining of not doing too well - retail. Seems that the credit crunch has hit hard! Lot's of lovely feedback about my work and commissions. Must get started!
